The Great Northern -- in May, 1999. The old Snoqualmie Lodge, which sits on the edge of spectacular Snoqualmie Falls (268 feet -- 100 feet higher than Niagara Falls), has been renovated and is now called the Salish Lodge.

The Great Northern, as it's known in the show, is operated by Benjamin Horne, who also owns Horne's Department store. Rooms at the Salish actually run upwards of $160 per night. You can find it right off S.R. 202 between the towns of Fall City and Snoqualmie.

Most of the interiors (as well as the bar at One-Eyed Jacks) were actually shot at the Kiana Lodge near Poulsbo on Puget Sound's Bainbridge Island. Parts of which, including exteriors, also appear to be used for the Blue Lake Lodge, where Pete Martell (Jack Nance), Catherine Martell (Piper Laurie) and Josie Packard (Joan Chen) reside.
