I got too posed as a zombie for a VW car calendar. The pic was for the month of October. It was super fun, everyone had a blast.

Joy in all things

With the first month of the new year drawing to a close my mind starts to wander. Where do people find joy? I find joy and happiness in many things but it seems that many people have a difficult time finding joy in their lives. I have developed the mentality of seeing the joy in all things big and small; however most of the time the expression on my face doesn’t show it. This could very likely be the case for others.

This past Sunday evening I was filled with such joy as a brothers hand fell on mine during a prayer. There were two circles of people holding hands. The larger circle encompassed the smaller one, which I was a part of. Then one of the men in the outer circle (someone I don’t know very well) put his hand on mine and the person’s hand I was holding. He simply wanted us all to be joined. Even though this physical act had nothing to do with the purpose of the prayer, it brought me much warmth and happiness. It was a strong feeling of family.

We are physical beings and God created us as such. I want to encourage you to always grab a person’s hand when the opportunity arises. Work towards seeing joy in all things. A simple gesture can give someone a lot of encouragement. What a joy that is.

The Pre-Flood Perspective:

We look out our windows every day and see the kind of nation that America is growing into. I love my country and I’m so thankful to have had the opportunity to live and worship freely. However this may not be the case in the near future. One thing that we know for sure is that history has a way of repeating itself. What happened to the nations of old once they grew to certain strength? How long did they survive once they turned away from God? How much time passes before the evil and darkness overtakes a nation and it collapses in on its self?

Is the world fundamentally a better place because of science and technology? We shop at home, we surf the Web and at the same time, we feel emptier, lonelier and more cut off from each other than at any other time in human history. I'm not against technology. However I'm against the men who deify it at the expense of biblical truth.

With each passing day America grows more and more into a type of society that we read about in the bible. This arises the questions, “What were the days and years like up until the flood?” “What things was Noah subject to?” “How quickly was Noah made aware that the world was engulfed in sin?” “Did he have fear for the people around him?”

This site is a yearlong journey through the eyes of Noah as if he lived today. It sheds light on the morbid and horrifying truths about the loss of integrity and the sins that are overtaking our nation.
