The New Year !!!

As this the year of our lord 2006 comes to an end. I sit here watching TV not realizing that the year had pasted. This year has been one of the most challenging for me and I am sure for many others. Many people decide to make changes in their lives for the New Year. I have often asked those around me what they hope to achieve by making a change in their life. They give ideas like praying more, reading there bible, eating healthier, working out, and giving more time to others.

I have never told myself to or tried to make a change for the start of a new year. This upcoming year is much different. I want to try to become a better person than I have been. There are so many things that people do not notice, or that people take for granted everyday. I don’t want to do those things. I want to give more time to others and always be willing to help and have better success for myself in all that I do, not to waste things, and make the best out of everyday because it may be my last.

I have often told myself and others that you never get a second chance to make a first impression. So for this New Year I want to be stronger and always show what kind of person I am to those around me. I pray that you will make this goal for yourself, if you have not yet made one. To become better than you have been in the past. Everyone can improve in some way, because lets face it no one is perfect.
